Dalgakıran Compressor was established by Ömer Dalgakıran on an area of 25 m2 in 1965 in Istanbul-Karaköy as a small family business that carried out reparation works for various machines. During the late 1970s, the family moved the company to a 100m2 workplace in Topkapı, and then began to manufacture screw compressors in İmes Industrial Estate. During the same year, second-generation executives, Adnan and Ayhan Dalgakıran, took charge in the company.
The rate of acceleration observed in the improvement of the company led to another change; the business moved to a 2500m2 workplace in 1991, and then to its first factory in Samandıra in 1997. While the second factory went into production in 2000, the third one started in 2008.
Today, Dalgakıran has become a large company with its staff and premises of 30.000m2.
It is also one of the biggest compressor manufacturers of the world that exports its products to over 100 countries and has its own branch offices in Russia, Ukraine, England, and Germany.
Thanks to its production volume, range of products and its experience of almost 45 years, Dalgakıran Compressor is in the leading position over the territories left between Germany and India.
What lies at the bottom of its 45-year-long professionalization and institutionalization history is that Dalgakıran has always made correct analyses and taken necessary steps to coexist with the top companies of the international arena.
